Anyway, I went to an "Asian Cultural Festival" today, which was sort of like a deliciously diverse state fair that haphazardly features souvenirs from an entire continent! I had delicious Chicken Teriyaki, watched Taiko drummers, Iranian bellydancing, and bought a Chinese flute because it seemed like a good idea at the time. (Note: I have no instruction in playing a flute. I will keep my neighbors up.)

Regardless, I should finish my book for American Literature, as the shadow of a research paper looms terribly.

Right, so, last night I got done with a two day Baccano marathon! It's a rather good show, I have to say. Um. I'm sure someone will probably force me into apping it somewhere!

Also, I finished Raidou Kuzunoha vs King Abaddon, which I absolutely loved. Awesome characters! Confusing Complex plot! Incredible amounts of subt- no, actually it's pretty much text. Shipteasing! A morality system that makes Law look less like a tool for once!

It also has Lovecraft references ahoy. And Lucifer is still a dick.

It's kinda sad all this is eventful enough to me to deserve a post.

So the other day, what did I, the birthday money endowed keyboard beginner looking for a nice treat buy?

A) The practical weighted Casio Privia digital piano that I'd probably not be able to put in my bedroom for space constraints. Gorgeous piano sounds, wonderful action.

B) The totally gee-whiz and affordable new Korg portable synthesizer that looks like the dashboard of a spaceship and weighs 2 pounds and holy shit it has a microphone that lets you sing like Daft Punk.

...Do you have to ask? Well, still, I'll try to get the former, or perhaps a good Yamaha, for Christmas. It really did feel nice. And in my defense, my current other home keyboard is just fine for practice and learning okay.

Tired. No energy, got the chills. Tonight was greeeat. Sorry it looks like I'm not around. Still so drained, and I have no appetite lately to boot.
